Google Mobile Search
A recent Wall Street Journal article reports on how Google and the other major search engine’s are pushing to move into mobile search. Here’s why: “Though mobile content is still a small market, it is growing quickly. Global sales of music, video, ringtones and other content reached $27.4 billion last year, and they are expected to grow to $59.3 billion by 2011, according to the technology-research and consulting firm Yankee Group.”
Google already offers a variety of mobile search services. Here is the list from Google Mobile. Notice that YouTube for mobile, widely touted as an iPhone feature is available for all mobile devices.
